Freyssinet
Apex Access and Rigging Pty Ltd was engaged by Freyssinet to engineer, supply, and install a fully hung temporary works
scaffolding system spanning the full length of the Dora Creek Rail Bridge. The system was designed to provide safe, continuous access beneath the bridge structure while accommodating the geometric constraints and load requirements of a live rail environment.
The temporary works solution incorporated full shrink-wrap encapsulation to facilitate abrasive blasting, protective coating application, and structural remediation works, while ensuring effective environmental containment. All scaffold and encapsulation systems were engineered, installed, and maintained in accordance with relevant Australian Standards,
rail safety interface requirements, and project-specific temporary works design documentation, supporting the delivery of
this complex heritage bridge remediation project.
