Apex Access and Rigging Pty Ltd was engaged to provide specialist access solutions during multiple forced outages at
Bayswater Station throughout 2023, 2024 & 2025. The works required rapid design, mobilisation, and erection of bespoke boiler scaffolding on minimal notice, as well as swing-stage scaffolds to enable boilermakers and pressure welders to carry out critical internal boiler tube repairs.
This project demonstrated significant engineering complexity, including confined space access, load-rated temporary works, and bespoke scaffold solutions tailored to the boiler geometry. All works were delivered in strict adherence to safety compliance requirements, including site-specific risk management, occupational health and safety protocols, and engineering standards, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of critical maintenance activities under challenging operational conditions.
